Pew and the Clean Energy Economy
The Pew Environment Group and the Pew Center on the States retained Joel Finkelstein and Fenton to create a messaging and 50-state outreach strategy for a landmark analysis of the Clean Energy Economy.
Our team dove deep into the sprawling data of the report, and focused on the fact that the clean energy economy grew two and a half times as fast as the overall economy, over the past ten years. We worked with Clean Energy Economy entrepreneurs on the ground in 22 top-tier states and created a suite of online and offline materials.
In the end, we generated over 400 media clips nationwide, much of it highly local and customized. National coverage included the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Associated Press and many others. Most importantly, the study’s key finding has become a defining feature of the national conversation about our energy economy.
